Lesley-Ann Brandt was born Cape Town, South Africa on December 2, 1981. She is an actress/model most well-known for her roles in TV and film. After beginning her acting career in her role on the New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity Brandt's American debut came with her second role, playing Naevia in the historical drama series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. In the last decade the actress has been featured in a ton of TV shows which include Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies and The Librarians. Brandt is currently playing Mazikeen who is a character on Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro's urban fable Lucifer. Brandt was was raised in Cape Town South Africa and after that, she moved to Auckland New Zealand with her family when she was in her teens. Her career began as a model by appearing in commercials and print ads. Before her rise to recognition as a model, she worked in the field of retail sales and also served as an information technology recruitment consultant. She played Leilani Fa'auigaese in the New Zealand TV sitcom Diplomatic Immunity in 2009.
